Trash into Treasure tin can planter

I had some small plants and decided to plant them in tin cans.  I got some jute, burlap a doily, popsicle sticks that I stained & decorated the tin cans.  I also used a nail to hammer small drainage holes in the bottom of the cans.  I think they turned out cute.

Metal Stool Redo

Removing Rust From Metal...

First I tried lemon juice and salt didn't budge the rust...  I went to my local OSH hardware store and purchased some Naval Jelly it was magic!  Just pour the pink goop on let it sit for a little bit and rinse off simple!  (I did use an old toothbrush to scrub at the rust while the Naval Jelly was on) Stool is still in need of TLC.  I have a vision in my head of the way I want it to look.  Fingers crossed it all works out.

Refinished small table with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

The top pictures are before and the bottom pictures are after.  My first time attempting chalk paint.  I love the way it turned out.  I am hooked on chalk paint now can't wait to paint something else!!!
